Too Much To Believe Poem by Indira Renganathan

Too Much To Believe

Rating: 4.7

He can talk to God
Any minute any moment

He does it daily
Just to share his
Queries and worries

But God, otherwise good
And a silent listener
Now is much confused
As Himself has met with
A problem not worth

He's in need of a new abode
So steps into the man's dream
Tells him to build a new temple

Man forgets the dream
But pursues sharing all
With his friend-God

Tempest comes
To demolish

Waste debris
On both sides

As if on a hillock
Stands smiling
Friend- God

From under the waste
Dragged out injured
The man

May be too much of
The man's talking
Was too much pestering

Too much to believe..?

May be too much of The man's talking Was too much pestering I think so too! . We are pestering the Gods with a long list of demands! No wonder, God is fed up with our selfishness and greed.......love your poems Ma'm.... :)

One may talk to God any time. He may ask his queries and worries. But God is a silent listener. He has fixed the result as per Karma. A beautiful poem is well executed. Five stars.
