To Travel With A Kiss Poem by Lina Katsorchi

To Travel With A Kiss

Rating: 5.0

To what distant places do our mouths go
each time they lock together in a kiss?
to what wild rivers do our joined lips flow
like fish freed from the jar to the abyss
of the ocean, led by the currents through
reefs, depths, and seas beyond the grasp of the
imagination? Love, I never knew
such worlds existed! Like tumbling leaves, free
from the chains of the branch, caught in the arms
of a wind that never ceases, they fly
as though with bird wings to explore the charms
of lands that seem to us as dreams. How high
we go everytime our tongues touch, I swear
the furthest stars are located too low
in the cosmos in comparison. Where
does it end, this journey? How far do we get
lost in a kiss, I have not discovered yet.

The can be a great deal of meaning in just one kiss and your poem has great meaning, as delicious as a lingering kiss. Best poem I've read for some time on PH. It's a 10 and I shall put it in my list of favourite poems. Truly beautiful.
