To The People Of New Orleans

Out of tradgedy is born new life
Out of the streets of New Orleans
The silent sound of ghostly trumpets
Sooth the soul of spirits long gone
People have to deal with being a refugee
In there own City
The beauty of food and water
Is just a apparition of need
Seen in the mind of hungry people
Weep not Brothers and Sisters
And we weep too
For the sweet music will be played
On the streets of a new New Orleans

This is one of your best (in my opinion) Allan. Truly heartfelt concern. Very nice. Sincerely, Mary

I wonder if anyone else is hearing the poem's sounds and melody.
Read it again if you need to, it is spoken from the heart and not a word too many.
