Brothers And Sisters Poem by Randy McClave

Brothers And Sisters

Whoever claims to love our Lord God
Because of his love and he's just with just a nod,
But, they hate a brother or a sister so they are a liar
They will end up most assuredly in hell's fire.
I've seen those who hate their sister or brother
And they hate them more than any other,
They hate them because of the color of their skin
And they hate them because where they have been.
They hate their immigrant brother and sister as well
They are their brothers and sisters as the Bible does tell,
But, they call them murderers and rapists and thieves
Truly the devil laughs and deceives.
They hate them so much they wanted a wall to keep them out
They hate those brothers and sisters with a curse and a shout,
Then they say they don't hate them in a post or a prayer
But, remember this, God was there.
I've seen those who hate their brothers and sisters
Because, on their hands have bruises and blisters,
They also hate their brother or sister because they are poor
They never want them at their front door.
They mock and laugh at them on the street
Them they will always ignore when they do meet,
They blame the falling economy always on them
And then they go to church or read the Bible and give a hymn.
Sadly this is how they were brought up and raised
The rich and the dollar they praised,
They blame all their problems on the poor and the needy
Never do they blame it on the rich and the greedy.
They hate their brothers and sisters because they are not like us
But, that fact many will swear against and cuss.
They applaud when their brothers and sisters are sent to jail
Then lies about them they will proudly tell.
They hate their brothers and sisters from different lands
They accuse them all of having drugs clutched in their hands,
Whoever says they love God yet hate their brothers or sisters
In hell they'll end up in torment with fiery blisters.
In the book of life will their name be written
Or from it will their names be smitten,
One day at judgment unto God they will truthfully admit
They hated their brother and sister, they were a hypocrite.
