To The Fullest



The evolution of revolutions have left my line a fray
But to reverse the seasons would surely be treason
Does not the sun shine for apparent reason
... If only a way to slay the gray

Fillet the day o friend of mine
And prepare it upon a mahogany table
And to it a toast because you're able
In a Mason jar with young love's wine

And when the day is no longer young
And the sunshine shuns the blue
Grieve me not I say to you
