Time Travellers Poem by Leaking Pen

Time Travellers

I’ll never top the list of earthly charts
And its limelight will not defunct after I’m gone.
Many of my non-mummified hearts
Dwell beyond the confine of this earth and its Sun.

Don't look for me in one place I am not here.
In this world I am one of its many passengers,
Whose destination is not earth, but to steer
My light heavenly bound, path of all time travellers.

When a grave is dug deep in the ground
And wilted grass has covered the mound
After they have laid my corps in the ground
Look up instead that’s where I am found.

No limit binds my freedom in flight
Death is but a doorstop for my light.
