Time Heals? Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Time Heals?

Someone once said.....
'Time heals all wounds'
But my heart always sings
too a different tune
Time may heal the fissures
but only too quiet whispers

JoAnn, time may be a great healer of many things, but there are some wound that it can never heal. We carry those with us until the day we die. Well worded and thoughtful poem. Thanks for sharing it my friend. David

This is a very thought provoking poem jojo and I'm not sure that Time ever Heals all Wounds....Some are too deep and leave scars....There is hope though that just perhaps these scars prepare us or make us stronger so the next would doesn't cut too deep or even to a point on never healing........I guess we just have to hope and hold on and I know, that's easier said than done... marci.xo

Yep, there are even some wounds that even Time itself can't heal...I learned that lesson well...but you have put it so perfectly. Thanks for these thoughts.
