Through My Daughter's Eyes Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Through My Daughter's Eyes

Through My Daughter's Eyes

Through my daughter's eyes
She doth despise

Nothing on this mortal earth
Holds more worth

The respect and love of your child
Is worth more than any gold compiled

But today I have lost it all
Through her eyes of one yet small

And like the world and how it spins
I pray that she comes round again

I wish you all the luck in the world and hope your daughter comes around mine is almost 20 and I am still the person to despise, hurt, and hate. I hope for you it turns out differently.
