Time For A Lesson Poem by Kathy Van Kurin

Time For A Lesson

Rating: 4.1

I listened to a stranger,
Still chewing, mulling it over;
In my mind.
Unseen message carrier,
Crack this rebel pride further;
brittle rind.
Softening now to others,
From your critical word favor;
Please unbind.
Unseen critical censure,
Release, soften and surrender;
Voice I sign.
Conception to finesse process,
I am not you, nor you me;
Timid inspiration-
Agree to disagree.
Within, without this world over,
All life, youth, ancient older;
Listen, find.
Composition and creator,
Your understanding furthered;
Give free rein.
Adieu unknown giver,
I accept the challenge to flee;
A narrow mind.

Great lessons we learn from life. people come and go. some remain with us as true friends. some go away. some are thre for a certain time.. all for good. the reasons why they came into our lives, we do not know often. we shall not judge anyone. fill the heart with goodness and go forward united with God Almighty. tony

Dr. tony Brahmin, Encouragement is such a gift. It is affirmation; like a glistening ribbon when another acknowledges. Thank you for reviewing and then leaving your feelings-thoughts on this subject. Lessons.. Moving forward as you say with help and power of God Almighty. Blessings, Kathy

a bit tricky for me to follow, but i believe i did follow it enough to get the gist and perhaps more! i like the sound of it as i read it silently. i like when there is a Poet's Notes. but, unless you don't mind me finding typos, you might do more proofreading. JUST a suggestion. hee-hee. bri :)

Bri Edwards, your input is so welcome! I am trying to do my best so please know that any help is appreciated. You are kind and balanced in approach which is truly a treasure! Yes this poem is the result of a negative response and I simply was endeavoring to learn and create a learning and writing opportunity within said experience. We all can learn and sometimes it is good to admit the need.....................Thanks so much for coming by and giving your fun review and input........It means a lot! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Blessings to you..................Kathy
