Crow Conference
Set up a ruckus, crow conference. Passionate discussion! What is so important, bringing such angst? I am simply a bystander in this crazy ear shattering debate tossed back and forth like a badminton game. Marsh land trees of Alder, birch, oak and cotton wood are their conference room.

They have come from far and wide. Is it a judgment session, a family reunion or feud? Calls ring out in dark rasping vowels drifting in the wind and echoing through the canopy.

Life, a many colored and variant thing, harmonious and discordant; sometimes all in one song. The beautiful clear tone always in its center is God saying. 'Abide in my Love.' This beautiful central tone is faith. God is constant and abiding.
Sometimes the song life gives to interpret makes no sense but God is my comforter and sustain-er. His voice speaks to my ear; 'I will never leave nor forsake you, Abide in my Love.'
One song after another in each season of life, with clues, signs and puzzles and God Almighty simply reminds, 'Abide in my love.' So I shall joyfully trust this Powerful God Yahweh who holds all wisdom and knowledge beyond understanding.
We are loved, included and held close always. In Christ, the beauty of His reality is more real every day, Jesus say's 'Trust me.' What else can I do? Just live, just occupy, just be. Live on as God orchestrates His song so that as I experience this life and simply be clothed in Jesus Love.

Winter Solstice,2016

How many times have new seasons of experience come and gone with no notice? Winter solstice; 2: 41 a.m. here in the Pacific Northwest. Vulnerable moment's leaf will turn into the first winter's step. In night slumber while our souls dream who will take notice? I suppose for some, celebrating will be the signal, for we do not simply rejoice far often enough.
One more winter, one more year passing; if we ignore the minutes will they flee more quickly, more slowly? Look forward; when did we stop? Children know how to anticipate the future in wild abandon, giddiness of spirit; a trembling joy just to be alive.
