Time Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Time

Rating: 2.5

Time

Tick, tick, tick
Move and sing hands of clock
And my eyes
Stare as watching hole in towers
Watch and watch
Then question: "What is time? "

Days come, go
So do nights and seasons and the years
Century is strange
It's nothing except in history, in the books
As are the, millenniums

On YouTube, sing Raiders
Cherokee ‘The nation'
And I am too drunk
My drug is the time
Arising, turning off, taking life

"What's in it? "
I question and wonder
Comparing the 60s with the Rap
Both talking of the life and women
Worlds apart, in decades
This is time.
