Three Ash-Lined Maheshwara Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Three Ash-Lined Maheshwara

Three ash-lines
On the forehead of Maheshwara
Matted
And with the sacred thread over the bare body
And into the tiger loin cloth
And with a kamandala and a trishula
And with the rudraksha rosary around the neck
And the poisnous snake rounded off
Shiva, Creamtorium-ground-rover Shiva, Night-reveller Shiva going,
Kailash-wanderer
Yogi, Fakira, Sadhu Shiva going,
Har Har Mahadeva,
Nilkantha Mahdeva.
