Those That Believe

We met by an autumn tree
Gold, red and leaves of green
Like elves we sing
With magic rings

I bend my knee with protocol
The light on the Christmas bulbs
Joy on the wings of mistletoe
Now the pines fill with snow

Moonlight shines on our dreams
All the bright stars are ours to see
A word has been spoken
A Psalm for the broken

Love comes like a blue sky
Let your prayers open your eyes
Just like the sun rises above
Those that believe receive their love

Poem of the Day

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
