Those Sunday Morning Moments Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Sunday Morning Moments

Rating: 5.0

‘‘Twas a fine Sunday morning,
As we walked the mountain high,
The air so fine,
The bird's sweet song,
And you were by my side.
The sun shone down,
Upon our distant town,
I could've happily drowned
In that moment then,
For those were the memories,
So hard to forget,
And I miss them everyday.
‘Twas a time of pure magic,
Just to spend them with you,
Remembering the flowers,
The fresh morning dew,
And I feel so blessed,
That you'll forever be,
Safe in my heart,
For all eternity.
