Those Summer Meadows Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Summer Meadows

Rating: 4.8

Through the summer meadows flowed,
Buttercups and daisies wildly grown,
And as I walked so gently through,
I remembered moments spent with you.

For we were young our minds still fresh,
No thoughts of sorrow, free from death
For all we knew were brighter days,
I miss them so in many ways.

I long to walk through there again,
To take me back with you and then,
We'll welcome in the morning sun,
You'll walk with me again my one.

All splendors shall die only true love survives, and we know not why. So delicately and beautifully sad.
