Thoreau Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Thoreau

Sanity is sitting by the sea
Walking by the wise river
Perceiving the stars of solitude
Being like the wings of the hawk
A walk around Walden Pond

I do not need all they say I need
I will not expose myself to their lies
I shall read and be discreet
I shall know myself and not their agenda
Individuality is getting rid of junk

Thoreau had a lot to say
