Is it funny to think
This world we live in
Could hold all your darkest fears?

Is it funny to think
The air we breathe
Is the reason for so many tears?

You tell me you care
Then you turn your back
I lay my feelings on the table
And I'm feeling so bare

You're cruel with your words
You're so quick with your thoughts
I can't get a grip on this
I'm feeling so terribly lost

Is it funny to think
This world we live in
Could hold all your darkest fears?

Is the reason for so many tears?

Another time I would have cared
What you thought of me
But I understand now
There's no going back

You broke me down and left me here
You left without a sound
Now I'm stuck I can't get out
And I'm feeling so let down
