Have you had your parents let you down?
Broken promises
Not been there for you
Not supported you whole-heartedly
Missed your debating match
Missed the grand finals for choir
Missed you come first in cross-country
Whatever it may be
Did they let you down?
Did they not show up?
Then make some stupid excuse for not coming?
For not even ringing?
I have
Many times
My mum breaks promises
My dad never shows up
But I deal with it
In my own ways
Wether I cry
Wether I break down
Cry myself to sleep
Lean on a friends shoulder
Keep it to myself
Cry silently
I deal with it
Somehow
