This night the windows of the buildings of the town
Light up one by one
One after the other
One house after the other
One building after the other
One street after the other
One city quarter after the other

And then
The night will have gone away
When all the city lights useless

The freshness of the Dawn defeats the lights

On a huge rock outside the port
Our civilization sits and looks
Looks at its lights all wandering
