This year is new, so what?
It will be old in less than
Twenty four hours
Time flies like purse snatchers
Are you shocked about that?
If so, please relax like a dead man.

This is a brand new year
Right now, forget about yesteryear
Please move on, a be ready to improve
Forget about emotions and love
Try to come up with a new resolution
Which is not a realistic promotion.

This is a new frosting year
Let's celebrate while working hard
Let's challenge ourselves, and be fair
To everyone standing next to the placard
Let's rejoice and be responsible
Let's follow our dreams
We're strong and capable
Of blocking the beams
This year is new. Take it slow
Be careful. Please do not stand in a row.
