They Don'T Know... Poem by Lynnee Holder

They Don'T Know...

Ev'rybody ain't meant to shine,
Some of us got's to keep walkin'
'dat line.

'Da one 'tween somewhere and
no-where- da' line where o'dinary
man won't dare.

'Doze who walk 'dat line kno'
bes, 'dey learn it all- from eas-
to wes.

'Dey kno' what's goin' on,
an- can give sound advice
'Dey have to kno', 'cause it's
'Dere vice.

Line walka's kno' the good an- the bad,
'Dey kno' da happy an- 'dey kno' the sad.

Bein' betwix ain't the worst;
Its 'doze on the outside who think you- cursed.
'Dey won't kno' how powerful you are;
'Til you gone- - 'den you'll become a stah.

Somebody has to tow the line...
