Non-Plussed Poem by Lynnee Holder

Non-Plussed

Are you real?
I don’t know
In my life
You come and you go

Sometimes I see you
Sometimes I hear your voice
The telephone rings
But not by my choice

I am here
You are there
You are kept
I am fair

I am free
Out here alone
Wondering when
You’ll come home.
