These Days Now To Witness Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

These Days Now To Witness

Troublesome?
Yes.
Avoidable?
Once upon a time,
When values to have...
Were kept effective.
And known them meant.

People have endured,
To live as others...
Chose on them to lie.
For no other reason.
But to receive attention to get.
Whether or not they were disliked.
Or unknown to pick,
As the ones to choose...
By appearances alone.
Doing what they did or not to do.
And despised.
Just for attempting,
To live their own lives.
Not to feel they should request,
Acceptance.

However...
These days now to witness.
In the midst of rapid change.
Have begun to exposed,
Those hiding in the shadows.
Beginning to lift.
Away from those wicked.
And what they had enjoyed done to do.
Regardless of their sacred places,
Where they gathered.
To trick, deceive, dupe and fool.
Revealing themselves to be demons.
Cloaked.
In Christian grab to quote from scriptures.
Attempting to disguise,
Their evil ways to deny.
And done with intent,
Meant.
To provoke others to feed and satisfy,
Their taste for creating...
Conflict, division and arguments to feast!

These days now to witness.
May have many feeling deceived.
But the truth never leaves,
Wounds to be left unhealed.
