And as the world turns
We sit love and learn
We desire to create
We inspire to yearn
But in the end
We only want to return
To how it was before
Before the world burned
And therein lies the truth
That we’ve been hiding
All this time it’s simply been us
Who’s been fighting
And it’s always been them
Who’ve been cheating and lying
But whining and complaining
Never got us nowhere
So let’s get the ball rolling
Unless you don’t care?
