The Withered Pssion Poem by Suresh Kumar

The Withered Pssion

The withered passion
Passionate are my nostalgic sentiments
As I am striving to feel the passions I had
Rather sudden was my passions bound by you
Not could I like me to detach from you since
And we had our hopes and spirits intact then
So long as they being untouched by any
Eternal, as I felt my passion for you then
Not like me deem it as something inconstant
God, alas! Made wretched my life since then
Under the chastening care of his callous wrath
Punishing was that justice as seemed it to me
Teeming are your remembrances still in my heart
As if it would want itself indulged among them still.
