The Vulnerable....(1) Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Vulnerable....(1)

Rating: 5.0

The vulnerable....

In the Bible, we read about multiple commandments
for society to care for strangers, widows, and fatherless children - people in difficult social situations.

And God gets very angry with Israel for ignoring
or even abusing these groups of people.

For God, mercy is more praiseworthy
than the accumulation of wealth or the acquisition of power.

Amen.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Another wonderful spiritual write from the great Poetess and messenger of the great words of God. In this time of uncertainty and hardship, we must not forget those who are at present suffering from pain and those who are vulnerable. An appropriate reminder in the observance of Lenten Season and at this most difficult time. Thank you for sharing, Sylvia. Informative and beautifully written.

God gives multiple command to take care of different categories of people. We should not violate the commands of God. During this Corona time we are passing through difficulties. We should fight against this obeying rules. God will definitely help us to overcome this situation.

This Biblical verse is excellently penned. We should follow the right path mentioned by God and we should maintain righteousness. God is graceful towards all. We are fortunate to receive God's mercy. Thank you very much for sharing this lovely work. Reflecting natural tendency is our duty....10 **
