The Visible Cycle....
The Visible Cycle....
Do you remember my poem entitled
"Small Philosophy"?
No?
that was about man
and the
wolf pack,
in my society,
our government is in its element
together with the forest management,
they want to manage, encourage the wolf pack
to re-enter and repopulate our Dutch nature,
for a long time the wolf is not visible in our country,
never seen nor heard again, already exterminated,
lately they only find carcasses along the highway,
but not a living wolf, seen or heard nothing for a long time,
recently we "saw" a living wolf,
this was told via TV with recordings, photos and other stuff
how sweet,
the wolf traced again!
The result now?
Night after night farmers are robbed of their sheep,
the robber?
The wolf!
blood traces everywhere,
from the farm to the dark forests next door
.......... in Germany!
So they do not have their nest in the Netherlands,
but in the green wild forests of West-Germany,
near the border with our country,
but to easily find a sheep?
just cross the border!
There are too many around the farms
The wolf killed a sheep, many sheep
he leaves behind the killed animals,
the sheep is four times his size,
but IF the wolf is really hungry,
he will eat the sheep though,
a wolf remains a wolf!
Our government wants to chase the wolf again,
just like then...
this is next to the corona invisible cycle,
a true visible cycle!

I read and found this poem interesting from the point of symbolism too where wolf is the symbol of all the ill intentions of us humans. Specially what is going on in my country where lamb and sheep are being dominated and killed ruthlessly. Wolf is out there to devour it all- all the values of humanity. Just now I read your other great poem Small Philosophy too. and connected it with the same symbolic line thought of mine.
Very interesting poem Sylvia Chan. Humans think of theirselves as the custodian of our planet and this is their reason for interfering with every thing. Often their management of animals is driven more from economic reasons than actual welfare of animals. Cruely towards them is hardly their concern.
A powerful and thought provoking poem. So vividly and brilliantly penned. There are activities and schemes of government and humanity that instead of creating peaceful society, they sometimes create chaos by their manipulations. I agree with the analytical mind of the great Poetess, . A wolf is a wolf. A great poem crafted by a brilliant mind. Onto my Poem List.

Our government is in its element together with the forest management, ...Wolves are not seen in your country for long time and these are in verge of extinction. Corona cycle is invisible and visible cycle is still seem. Wolf remains a wolf and eats the ship. Government wants to chase the wolf again. Killing of animals provokes thought. Wild life should be protected. This poem is thought provoking....10
