Back From Beauteous Normandy....

Back From Beauteous Normandy….

I still remember the light blue skies
touches the bright seablue horizon
that scene still lingers in my mind
the grey rock stony hills overgrown with green

walking at the beach
at my right hand our toddler Vinhie
is walking firmly in the sand
the view together as one painting
exuberantly divine

I still remember the light blue skies
touches the bright seablue horizon
that scene still lingers in my mind
the grey rock stony hills overgrown with green

walking at the beach
at my right hand
our toddler Vinhie is walking
perky in the sand
the view together as one painting
exuberantly divine

the sunrays
we notice that in all ways
the buzzing bee
I thought I'd not meet that at Normandy

yes, I am here
savouring atmosphere
at the beach
with our toddler Vinhie

as long as he enjoys
together with his grandma
I am part of his joys
these mini joys
searching for pebbels and shells

I still remember
this beauteous Normandy together with our cute Vinhie

the view and the togetherness as one painting
exuberantly divine….

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

11.Dear Denis, thank yo uso very much for your dear and precious comment: What a simple but consummate joy you have captured in your net. Human togetherness suffuses the view like a magical ingredient. Our minds are like antennae to find the divinity that deepens our appreciation of life. Love is a big part of it, and being receptive to wonders. A 10! So happy to read your response. Most appreciated.

this is absolutely lovely, ---the repetition is powerful and sets the scene emotionally and this reader feels like I'm walking with you and feeling this beach and its history--many stars for this lovely piece of art
