I stand here alone, missing your presence
In this dark night's endless luminescence
While in this wait there is a pain
But also a belief, that it's not in vain:


The wind that hushes me a little secret
And those dreams locked in my closet,
I am aware, also belong to your world
With every detail, promise and word.


The sunrises and sceneries that I embrace;
And the sunsets of utter divinity and grace
Seem like your unique romantic gesture
Ciphering within your amazing adventures


With each smile that comes out from within me,
And whenever those fears and insecurities flee
I feel you around, just like you must have
So soothing it is to know, you are always there


Those nights when after a mess I instantly felt safer
Knowing with guarantee, you won't let me suffer
You spent those hours, holding me tight; next to my pillow
And your mischief responsible for the glow that followed!


The world to me is suddenly so beautiful
Looks like an empire, waiting for us to rule
Dreaming about you, the reality of my essence,
Your craziest ideas, to me, make the most sense!


I sleep under the blanket of the clouds that hovers over you
You smell the scent of the first rain falling on my roof;
The stars that I count are adored by you
The music that touches you, hits my playlist too


Under the watch of the sky we eternally share,
I wait for you to come heal the distress,
Come and validate my belief to be real,
And create with me a world surreal!
