The Third Wheel Poem by Branton Wilcox

The Third Wheel

Rating: 5.0

I'm only a third wheel,
Pushed to the back just like a rotten meal.
No one seems to notice the real pain,
But inside you feel like you're going insane.

They only need you to carry weight,
And they treat you like their fish bait.
And as you feel your self falling,
They push you to keep crawling.

As you start to give away,
You feel a little part of you decay.
This life is beginning to feel unreal,
As if you're only the third wheel.

A nice poem with lovely rhymes. It's deplorable what some people go through on regular bases in other to survive. Exploitation is very rife today because of the quest by humanity for material things. But be that as it may, FAITH KEEPS THOSE THAT KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. A well articulated poem penned with insight to capture the poet's conviction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
