The Tears Of Silent World Poem by asaolu kolawole ifedayo

The Tears Of Silent World

THE TEARS OF SILENT WORLD
How weak and quiet
Is the sound of thy dooming drum
Sitting hopelessly on thy mourning stool
With thy children in terrible tears
Clothed with garment of ashes
Where no signs of prophet
Forsee the season of date

Oh Babylon has fallen
Like a thunder of morning star
Rising again to fall
To mock the wounded-world apart
Dancers in sunrise darkness
Entrapped by the cord of killer cricket

Oh, our tears are many
With basket of pouring pains
Waving world without form
Weak and void in pleasuring sin
With strength of Mimicking micheal
Whose test of flight
Is now on vulture's wing

But Where is the hovering dove
That pleads peace to dying world
The commander of HEALING WORD:
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
And our fishes ceasing in the river
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
With our grapes withering before harvest
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
But many marriages breaking as shadows
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
And hunger killing our widows
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
With the kings riding on the slave
O LET THERE BE LIGHT
While Farmers are reaping in tears

Our polluted prayers on slippery mountains
Sickening the ears of sorrowful YAHWEH
While our pastors in fornicating mess
Building altars without power
Our choirs in sexual sin
With thousands more in trillion wrongs
Then why would not the world mourn?
O tell me, why would she not be sick
When our STARS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Has darkened the cross of CHRIST
Oh let us all return to God
In humility and truth
For in this and him can silent the TEARS OF CRYING WORLD.
