To My Princess Poem by asaolu kolawole ifedayo

To My Princess

I see her eyes hanging in the sky
murdering ambitious stars for fire
a spark of love, consuming
the remnant chaffs of pasted pains
in a once mood of rejected heart

O! Dearest angel, where is my heart stolen to?
is it to the place where river
floats some lapislazuli or
to the city where crowned EMERALD rules
You have the heart of a king
which made me humble before your commanding beauty

Surely, i will be your shining star
when the moon is lost in the cloud
and too like your only dream
when thy slained sleep is yet
to regain its varnished freedom

You are my hope
You are my happiness
and you are my little spirit
that beckons love from the paradise spring
This is real, our lasting love
that no SUN will stand between us
