The Story Of A Boy Poem by Jae Elias

The Story Of A Boy

He’s walked the face of this earth for 15 years.
Use to be full of life, now lies are what he mostly hears.
Wishes he could re-live the better days.
But he moves on, not caring about what anyone says.
‘Forget the world’ is what he screams.
Broken heart, shattered hope, he has no dreams.
Nowhere close to perfect.
He’s made mistakes.
But he just did what it takes.
Not asking for mercy or forgiveness.
Simply because, he could care less.
A disgrace in the eyes of some.
A crazy, misunderstood son.
A unique poet.
Fighting crazy up times, with the scars to show it.
Living in a world filled with fake.
Trust no one even with nothing at stake.
