Twist Of Fate Poem by Jae Elias

Twist Of Fate

You live life as clean as a whistle.
Would never kill, or even hold a pistol.
Never took any kind of risks.
Before you married, you were scared to kiss.
Lived your life for God.
Worked an honest 9 to 5.
To support your kids, and wife.
But a serial killer took it all away.
He made you look at life in a different way.
Your life really began that day.
Stopped believing and caring.
Lived everyday as it came.
Quit your job, and started snorting cocaine.
You saw life as what it really is, a concrete jungle.
It’s eat or get ate, so feed your hunger.
Some live, to die and go to heaven.
Others could care less, kill, and rob a 7/11.
You love and worship God so much, but fear death.
But the ones in prison for life don’t fear their last breath.
If God is so real wouldn’t he forgive any sin?
When you approached heaven, wouldn’t you get in?
Rebel towards any religion.
Write your own bible, live your own vision.
Die for yourself, forget the population.
Speak your voice against any nation.
Stand up and live your own life.
