Stark reality

Yes, it can be called as the revolution
as there remains no confusion
in their ability to steer the course
and stay in the forefront as a dominating force 

find them in the battlefield
the position is fiercely held 
an enemy is forced to fall back
the country's honor is not at stake 

what are the main factors?
for them to live with an honor 
good opportunity to prove
and show the worth and drive

many turn to unfair means
as no clear path is seen
so they turn to illegal activities
and land, later on, in miseries

intellectuals head to foreign countries
local youth resort to an adultery
we find brain drain too
this is stark reality and true
