The Sin We Love Poem by john raymond

The Sin We Love

We love God yearn after Him and seek to be like him
What dose that initial may ask your self?
It starts with trust in Him to reject sin and die to what flesh loves
To lust is intoxicating but ugly in the sight of God
To burn our flesh is to live for God's will
To love sin is human to hate sin is divine
We love to over eat over drink with money the heart of greed
We love to lust after women and kill our enemy's
We love the power of God and to lift things over Him
We love to hide these things and hate when it is done to us!
What ugly thing am I is to the eyes of God
How can I see sin as God, if I love it so much!
God open my eyes to such a sin in my own Rage
Day by day I get mad over little things with no control
Day by day I hit my dog for the sin I caused
Day by day I hate myself for the Poisson I allow in my heart
Day by day I ask God to cut it out of my flesh!
What evil puss can I burn from my heart to be free
I would give God all that I have to cast out jest one sin
For I hate it as I sin against man and God
I am tired of being sorry and ask for forgiveness
I want to be free of Rage even if I am a slave of Christ
So next time you have a light sin don't at the ends
Look at the eyes of God who looked away from his first love
