I know a woman of the U. S army
Who has an insatiable hunger for God
Who knows she's sins & wants to repent
Who sings jest so God will hear her voice
Who seeks God out of love in his peasants
Instead of a wishing well or a Santa Claws
Her choice to honor her father & mother
In lands that throw the old away in resthomes
She service in command with leadership skills
Yet still has time to have a heart for kids
She gives of her time, money and self for God
All God needs is a willing heart to obey
From what I see a true woman of her word
A woman who cares about her sick friends
Best of all I thank God I can call her friend
She is not perfect as I know I'm not
If you question your faith be Humble ask God
What sin must I confess to turn from?
Jest today she asks what talents she has
Jest thank God for what he has given you
Please take your pick from the virtues up-above
I know I have thanked Him for a friend like You!
