The Rules Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Rules

Teach her!
Let her know the rules;

Teach him!
Let him know the rules;

Understanding the ways of life with,
The muse of nature.

Knowledge with the muse of the people,
Love came to you when you were very young;

Purple sun,
Purple rain!

Problems,
Burdens;

Like a viper along the narrow path!
Why are you downcasted?

Wickedness! !
Like a serpent by the road that bites the horse's heels;

Aristocracy and the love of a muse,
True spirit of inclusiveness;

Stronger and fairer!
With the destination ahead.

Spices, balm and myrrh!
To eat the meal of love;

Best talents,
To overcome your cash and carry system;

To make it alone,
On your own;

Brown town! !
To teach with the truth.

Inheritance,
The promise;

Awake! Awake! !
To teach the people with the truth;

The beauty of the land,
Seen with watery places.
