The Royal Elite Poem by James Darwin Smith II

The Royal Elite

I denounce the dance of the royal elite
As they dance upon the graveyard of time
Laughing pompous laughs of arrogance
Blaming others for the actions for which they have done

Ruling with an iron fist they do
Holding a sceptre of their venom spewed
Hanging out with their silver tongue forked askew
Creating shame for the less unfortunate
As they blind their neighbors with unhinged thoughts

Turning poor against the poor
Laughing as they cause war
Brothers killing brothers
Fathers killing mothers
Making everyone feel confused

The royal elite
They love to play their games
Sitting back all comfortable and clean
Sipping on their favorite form of caffeine
Loving themselves for whom they are
The kings of slime
Ordained by their own twisted desires

So now here we are fighting
As if they are playing us like videogames
High fiving each other on each level won
Burying as many of us as they can in shame
After all we have the most to lose
And they always have everything to gain

Hey, look at them now
Their heads they keep getting bigger
We have to keep buying them larger crowns
So they can rule us even better
After all money is the definition,
Of who we are as 'one'

Submission via oblivion
The middle ground about to fall
Down into the abyss of no return
But hey we got our country back after all

Hey, Let us step on the less fortunate
After all they are lower than life

Hey, is my sarcasm enough to wake anyone up?

Those who celebrate upon defeat
That for which the middle has been destroyed
Victims used by those who deceive
Now wallowing in misery with the poor

The royal elite always rise and shine
Will no struggle, with no care at all
Blaming problems all on the unfortunate ones
Prodigal kings and queens and princes
Laughing on and on and on

The dance of the royal elite keeps going
This exclusive club that owns everything and everyone
Keeps growing and growing and growing
Who will stop them? We must
we all must be strong

We vastly outnumber the royal elite
Where is everyone?
