The Rain And Darkness Have Returned



The rain and darkness have returned
The too long summer ends
In what promises to be too long winter
What happened to the seasons in- between?
To sad beautiful autumn and trembling hopeful spring?
The weather outside helps create the weather within-
Darkness now
Too much morning darkness
And the long cold rainy day ahead
Winter of my life
Winter of this season
