The Prison Poem. Poem by JOSE MURGUIA

The Prison Poem.

Rating: 4.9

a night with out stars,
another day i must face behind bars,
no visits, no calls,
im trapped inside these four walls,
but sometimes i close my eyes
and just for a moment im back home,
but i realise is just a dream and that im all alone,
i wish things could get better,
but another day and still no letter,
i cant see the sun and smell the fresh air,
i ask myself does anyone really care?
time goes by so slow and i feel like im dying,
parole denied once again
i hear dont give up keep tryng,
so this is my story of 25 to life,
but most important heres were i lost my kids and wife.
