The Prince From Faraway Land Poem by Rehnuma Tarannum

The Prince From Faraway Land

Rating: 5.0

He came to me like a dream,
A luminous visage, with green eyes,
Like lightening in the darkness, he smiles.
His voice plays on my mind like a musical tune,
In my starless sky he is the only Moon.
As he contents my heart to the brim.

My prince from faraway land,
I can smell desert sand from his hair,
Like white-snow-flakes his skin is fair.
I wonder his eyes are mirage in the desert or oasis?
Are they filled with illusion or pure heavenly-bliss?
As he smiles grace, He walks grand.

He overwhelms me with his charm,
He is the prince, who rides car, not horse,
Of all my happiness, He is the source.
No crown, but Sun shines bright on his head,
I feel alive and soulful under his shade.
As He keeps my heart running and warm.

He is all my eyes want to see,
So gentle he is with all his graces,
I find his traces in all the faces,
Yet, from everyone else, he is poles apart,
No lands, but he rules my heart.
As special as a blessing he is to me!

Good Morning Ms Rehnuma, Very poignant poem. On a dream, Prince Charming! With a philosophical inclination. Loved reading this beauty.. He is the one who... He overwhelms me with his charm, ! ! And He is the prince, who rides car, not horse, And her recognition that... Of all my happiness, He is the source. His physical appearance, attire: No crown, but Sun shines bright on his head, And the soulful effect of his presence on her: I feel alive and soulful under his shade. And finally, what does he do to her? ? ? As He keeps my heart running and warm. Wow! ! ! ! ! What a write! ! 10+++ And to mypoemslist...
