The Pass Poem by Eric The Viking

The Pass

I’ve come back to the pass
The place that rots me to the core
I’ve come back to the pass
As I’ve done many time before

A place that’s gentle and light as snow
The place that calls me every winters cold
I wish, I wish, I didn’t have to go
It’s the only place, the only place I know

The longest day was in the past
That day lives on, at the pass
So I’ve come back, back to the pass
Come back to me, come back at last
