The Old Sax Player Poem by Karl Newton

The Old Sax Player

Rating: 2.5

The old sax player
Sat still
And alone
Playing the same old tunes
Of yesterday
Like many year before
Playing songs
That speak the sound
Of his soul
Accepting pennies
In his worn old bowl
