The Night Sky Poem by Raihana Abdul Jabbar

The Night Sky

Purple and black swirls in,
Shifting the orange and blue of daylight...
Worshipers of The Milky Way,
Whirl around, gleaming like diamonds...
The moon, dressed in pearly white,
Dance to a mystic, ancient score of night...
A wolf's howl echoes on a faraway rock...
Stirring those who reflect on their thoughts...
Fireflies light tiny lamps,
For those who seek knowledge in dark...
'Cause Nyx is blessed with insight of God...
The Night Sky inspires and enchants,
With gravity of a million suns...
Merci! O! Impeccable Power!
That holds the night sky high with all its wonder...

I have seen you vison of the Heavens at night, And I must say, the beauty that I beheld, simply took my breath away The stars in your eyes, the sparkle in your smile- Oh, what a sight, I'd like to stay awhile... You see, your beautiful words inspire me! Wonderful Write Raihana! Great Ink! -Kelly.
