The Mission Poem by Robert Matkovic

The Mission

Share me your stories of love and hope
Sit down, kick back, pick up the bong and smoke some dope
Stress less, I have intact my soul
Body is death

There's nothing left, a sinking ship
In the sea is as good as dead
Father forgive me
I have sold my soul
Untold stories of life, are sweetest when told

Misery, crying for a share of you
Left me dead on the pavement
I can see now what you saw
The love of man, is in my hand

I understand, logic, reason, science
but God is no man

Let it go, another free man
Left inside a prison
Destruction, hate, anger
I see now why they question
My life's ambition
Intuition, love, peace
It is my mission.
