The Long Government Shut Down By The Orange Alien Poem by Hebert Logerie

This is the destruction of a very beautiful country
This is the dilapidation of an inherited good economy
America has been great for a long time
This is despicable. This is sad. This is a crime
To be torturing so many hard working employees
Over a stupid and inefficient border wall, which one day
Will fall. This barrier will not stop from crossing the bees
The squirrels and the foxes. I am absolutely proud to say
That more people will be able to cross over and to go through
Where there's a will, there is a how and a way. What a fool!
It's a shame the Senate and the Congress are letting a narcissist
Hurt so many innocent federal workers and so many pacifists
People cannot pay their bills timely. The national parks are dirty
The recipients of federal assistance are sick and going hungry
This is the right time to raise our voice: we do not care about borders
However, we care about security for everyone. America is still great
In spite all the problems and mistakes at hand. She is the ultimate
Place to be, that's why so many yearn to cross the American frontiers
Once called the land of unlimited opportunities. America is resilient
We should stand for liberty. The Democrats should remain adamant
And not giving to nonsense. Everybody must stand for what is right
And just. You and are I are leaders, because we understand
And we are willing to voice our opinions and to make a stand
Wasting five billion dollar is unconscionable. We must fight
The long government shutdown is hurting our brothers and sisters
We want peace, security and respect; we don't care about borders.
