The Invisible Mask Poem by Steven Rowe

The Invisible Mask

At home look at mom,
Give hug.

Bus to school,
Smiles for all.

At school,
Chin up.

Friend walks near,
High Five.

Bus to work,
Smiles for all.

Work, two shifts one night,
Grin there.

On the phone,
Speak pretty

Bus home,
Smiles for all.

Home, 'lone,
Be me

Seems to me this mask is all too visible. GW62
