The Great Classical Tradition Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Great Classical Tradition

The great classical tradition,
Talk I,
Relate and refer I to,
The great classical tradition,
Indian classical tradition
In its glory and aura,
Splendour and awe
So breathtaking and wondrous
The rock-buitl temples, sculptures and figurines,
Terracotta works, artistic and sensuos,
Historical and mythical
But balancign with the counter-thesis
Of logic and reasoning
Which is not dead in me.
