The Golden Age Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Golden Age

Rating: 5.0

The golden age is now
The golden age is the present
Because tomorrow
Is uncertain under the tent.

Live today. Gather the flowers
If you don't, you'll be at a major loss
Flowers lose their beauty in a matter of hours
Enjoy their freshness today with a toss.

The golden age is not tomorrow
When time brings sorrow
At the door. The moment is now.

There's no need to bow
Just pray to see a rainbow
After being very low.
